    2016年，由于开始侵蚀世界的怪人“BugStar”=未知的电脑游戏病毒侵蚀开始。为了救助感染者，决定与BugStar战斗的天才玩家宝生永梦变身为假面骑士Ex-Aid。

    《假面骑士EX-AID》是日本超级英雄电视剧《假面骑士》系列的第27部作品，于2016年10月2日首播，至2017年8月27日完结。本剧主要讲述了医生带领一支由游戏玩家转职成的游戏医疗队伍，在对抗游戏型病毒感染和邪恶组织Crush'em All的过程中，力保人类健康和游戏玩家的安全的故事。

    本剧的主角是名叫冈手医生的年轻医生，他在一次意外中知道了游戏型病毒感染的存在，并发现只有通过游戏来进行治疗才能够拯救病患。于是，他创造了史上第一款医疗游戏《Mighty Action X》。然而，在治疗病患的过程中，Crush'em All的成员开始袭击医院，企图夺取医疗游戏的开发资料，并试图把整个医疗游戏系统改造成一个致命的世界，从而引发一场生死博弈。

    为了防止Crush'em All的企图，冈手医生和其他医生组成了一个名为CR的游戏医疗队伍，使用自己的转职技能和游戏战斗能力，保卫医疗游戏系统和玩家的生命。同时，他们还要对抗另外一只战斗力强大的恶魔组织，奋力守护人类健康，保卫世界和平。
