高铁驾车企图逃走，汤亮一行人拦住了高铁的去路。高铁情急之下跳车逃跑，被汤亮一行人逮了个正着。范星火怒火冲天指责高铁偷工减料，高铁厚颜无耻辨称自己是在为范星火节约开支。两个警察赶了过来，带走了高铁。 十五天后，高铁从拘留所出来，回到汤家营村，想跟范星火和解。范星火决定起诉高铁，他把高铁当成兄弟，高铁却把他当成了傻子。 高铁希望范星火得饶人处且饶人，范星火不讲情面，执意把高铁告上法庭。高铁气急败坏，提醒范星火不能把事情做得太绝，否则他绝不会放过范星火。马大力见高铁想靠近范星火，赶紧上前拦住高铁。 晚上，汤亮把范白露(王薇 饰)画的汤家营新村画相放在院子里面，张灯结彩，布置好了浪漫的求爱场所。范白露进入院子里面，走到自己画的风景画下面。汤亮趁机深情款款表白，希望余生与范白露相爱。范白露惊喜交加，扑进了汤亮的怀里，两人紧紧搂在一起，一切尽在不言中。 林莹带领汤非见父亲，她曾经在父亲面前夸过汤非几次，如今汤非是公司的财务总监。林父对汤非非常满意，支持女儿林莹与汤非交往。 有人向镇政府举报范星火贪污公款，寄来了举报信。镇长与张书记查看举报信，两人相信范星火没有贪污公款，但是有人写了举报信，两人只能例行公事调查范星火。 汤婉(赵思 饰)打电话给范奋斗(宋家腾 饰)，提醒范奋斗赶紧回家，范星火已经去镇政府接受调查了。范奋斗西服革履回农村见到汤婉，在汤婉的带领下向汤二强买豆腐。汤二强正愁豆腐卖不出去，但又拉不下脸面卖豆腐给范奋斗。 范奋斗不但买豆腐，还打算买马大力家生产的茶叶，这次他回来，出手阔绰，似乎打算大干一场。汤婉决定陪范奋斗去马 大力家的茶叶厂，汤二强虽然有些不乐意，但没有阻拦汤婉跟范奋斗走。 范奋斗与汤婉来到马大力家的茶叶厂，张口提出买下所有茶叶，马大力和妻子娜娜欣喜若狂，把范奋斗当成了财神爷，笑脸相迎。 范奋斗离去之时叮嘱马大力加大力度生产茶叶，他还要买更多的茶叶。马大力目送范奋斗离去，心里犯起了嘀咕，范奋斗忽然大量进购茶叶，马大力只觉百思不解。妻子娜娜见他好奇心重，数落他未能继续当村主任。 汤大强带了酒到弟弟汤二强家里，兄弟两人把酒言欢。汤大强提议与汤二强去找金老板追回水泥厂的债，汤二强嘴上不愿意去追债，待汤大强去找金老板后，他拿了一把铁铲赶了过去，帮助大哥汤大强对付金老板的手下，从金老板手里要回了债款。 傍晚时分，汤亮与范星火坐车回村。高铁驾驶一辆泥沙车迎面驶来，故意逼近汤亮驾驶的汽车，汤亮本能打方向盘回避，一不小心驾车翻下了路边。
