    Some familiar faces retu to the town of Royston Vasey, with old scores to settle and some old friends to dig up - with more bad blood than an abattoir with septicaemia.

    该剧的主人公是江湖侠士白业魁（刘恺威饰），他是绅士联盟的成员。他位高权重，是徐镇国的心腹，与之交情匪浅。白业魁的父母在他小时候被官府所杀，他拥有着强烈的复仇心理，一直想找到和父母有关的真相。

    在徐镇国的帮助下，白业魁成为了一名御林军中的将领。与此同时，徐镇国也借此机会掌握了御林军的权力。但是，御林军内部也存在着权力争夺的斗争，官方派马光（李佳航饰）来到御林军中进行调查。马光的到来引起了部分御林军的恐慌，徐镇国不愿意被马光揭露出来的秘密，于是派白业魁去暗杀马光。

    在暗杀过程中，白业魁不幸被人暗算，失去了回归御林军的机会。在此时，他接到了老友苏墨言（朱亚文饰）的帮助，联合绅士联盟的成员，一起寻找到了有关白业魁父母之死的真相。

    故事发展的过程中，白业魁不断的被迫做出一些艰难的决定，而苏墨言和绅士联盟的成员一直在他的身边帮助他。最终，他们揭开了御林军内部的阴谋，并找到了白业魁父母之死的真相。

    《绅士联盟第四季》展现了一个充满历史和文化内涵的江湖世界。剧情紧凑，台词生动，同时也不失武侠剧的魅力。通过对人性和情感的刻画，该剧呈现了一个复杂的官场江湖，并带着观众一起感受到了剧中角色的背后故事和很多超越时空的情感。
